The Pulse Presence project (originally CoolGard) was a greenfield initiative that encompassed both a web application and a mobile application, designed during the COVID-19 pandemic for businesses, hospitality venues, and mines to track people entering and exiting sites. I was responsible for delivering a complete functional specification and interface design, including new component design for both web and mobile interfaces.

As we moved out of the pandemic this innovative solution was later rebranded, expanded and refocused for use across all heavy industry sectors, providing seamless sign-in and entry management for employees and contractors. Key features included on-device inductions, integration with breath detectors, and access control systems.

Pulse Presence integrates effortlessly with Pulse Workforce, the Pulse payroll and HR management solution, to automatically populate timesheet data. This integration not only streamlined workforce management but also enhanced compliance and safety protocols by ensuring accurate attendance tracking and entry logging in real-time.
